The trend remains range-bound with a weak bias, as selling pressure persists on every rise.<\/p>\n<p>Traders may avoid aggressive longs; use pullbacks to trim positions.<\/p>\n<p>A muted start is expected, tracking neutral cues from major global indices. The trend may remain volatile with a phase of needed consolidation, while stock specific movements are likely to dominate, particularly within core sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The Nifty is expected to initially hover in the 23,800 to 24,100 range. A decisive break on either side could trigger a move towards 23,700, where the next trend setup may emerge, or 24,200, where selling pressure is likely to surface.<\/p>\n<p>From a positional perspective, as long as Nifty sustains below the April 22 low, selling pressure may persist in the near term.
