Close: 24154.90<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Markets at a crucial Crossroads &#8211;<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Nifty is currently at a crucial juncture, with the broader trend awaiting a decisive directional move as it trades around the interim and psychological support of 24,000. A sustained hold above this level could encourage a recovery, while a decisive break below it may intensify selling pressure.<\/p>\n<p>The benchmark indices are likely to open marginally lower, tracking weak overseas markets. Nifty\u2019s further direction is likely to depend on its ability to sustain 24000 as a pivotal support zone. A decisive break and sustained move below 24000 could extend the decline towards 23900 to 23800, while holding this support may trigger a recovery towards 24300 to 24400.<\/p>\n<p>Traders are advised to remain cautious until the index establishes a clear direction by breaking either side of the range. Meanwhile, Buy-on-Dips and Sell-on-Rise strategies may be considered to capitalise on range-bound movements.<\/p>\n<p>From a behavioural perspective, the recent rejection around 24700 continues to weigh on the near-term structure. However, buying interest may emerge around 24000, with 23700 remaining the next important behavioural support.
