The inability to build sustained momentum on either side reflects continued uncertainty, with the 24,000 zone emerging as an important near-term support.

As geopolitical concerns continue to escalate, nervousness across global equity markets is likely to weigh on domestic sentiment, leading Nifty to witness a marginally lower opening. The index may continue to experience range-bound and volatile action with a mixed bias, broadly oscillating between 23,900 and 24,200, with stock specific opportunities likely to dominate.

A decisive breakout above 24,200 could open the way towards 24,300, while a breakdown below 23,900 may intensify the downward drift towards 23,800, where buying interest could emerge.

Traders may adopt a combination of Buy-on-Dips and Sell-on-Rise strategies to manage the prevailing volatility and maintain a favourable risk-reward profile.

From a positional perspective, Nifty needs to decisively close above 24,300 on a consecutive basis to provide the first confirmation of a potential recovery towards 24,700. A sustained close above 24,700, our key Behaviour Shift Zone, would further strengthen the possibility of a fresh bullish leg.

Until these key levels are decisively breached, Nifty is likely to remain broadly range-bound between 24,000 and 24,700, with heightened volatility continuing to influence the near-term market direction.

Sectoral Focus

Information Technologies, Metal, Energy, Pharma, Auto, Finance.

Stocks To Watch

Hero Motocorp, NMDC, Adani Green Energy, KEI Industries, Mphasis, Sical Logistics, Gland Pharma, Welspun Corporation.

Apply strict stoploss discipline across trades.

Wishing everyone an opportunistic day ahead!

*gwcindia.in/disclaimer/

Nifty Prev.
