Nifty at a Crucial Crossroads &#8211;<\/strong> Nifty closed below its trendline and the September 1 low, indicating some loss of near-term momentum. However, the index continues to hold above the recent swing high, keeping the broader structure relatively resilient.<\/p>\n<p>Going ahead, sustained trade above the recent swing high could encourage a recovery, while a decisive break below this level may invite further profit booking and downside pressure. Hence, the coming sessions remain crucial for determining the next directional move.<\/p>\n<p>Marginally higher opening is anticipated for Nifty, tracking the favourable cues from global indices. The rest of the day\u2019s trend may turn volatile within the range of 23,900 to 24,200, with sector specific activities likely to remain in focus. A decisive break below 23,900 could bring 23,800 into force as the next potential buying demand zone, while a breakout above 24,200 may open room for an immediate move towards 24,300, which remains a key resistance.<\/p>\n<p>From a positional perspective, Nifty needs to decisively close above 24,300 on a consecutive basis to provide the first confirmation of a potential recovery towards 24,700.
