Close: 23346.40<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Indian equity markets are expected to open on a muted note, in line with neutral global market signals. As the session progresses, the Nifty may remain range-bound within 23200 to 23500, with sector-specific movements likely to influence market direction.<\/p>\n<p>A decisive break on either side of this range could open the way towards 23100 on the downside or 23600 on the upside.<\/p>\n<p>In the near term, traders may consider a Sell-on-Rise approach, while Buy-on-Dips may be considered selectively with appropriate caution.<\/p>\n<p>From a positional perspective, the bearish undertone is likely to remain intact as long as the Nifty trades below the 23700 Behavioural Shift Zone. Rallies towards this zone may continue to encounter selling pressure, potentially extending the ongoing corrective phase.<\/p>\n<p>A sustained breakout above 23700 would indicate a potential shift in market behaviour. Until the index decisively reclaims this zone, volatility may continue within the broader 23000 to 23700 range.
