Close: 22753.20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Indian equity indices are likely to open on a flat-to-weak note despite positive global cues. During the session, Nifty may remain volatile within the 22600 to 22900 range, favouring a Sell-On-Rise approach. A decisive break from this range could extend the move towards 22500 on the downside or 23000 on the upside.<\/p>\n<p>Traders are advised to remain cautious during recovery attempts, as interim bounces may provide opportunities to reduce existing long positions and\/or initiate fresh short positions at appropriate levels.<\/p>\n<p>From a positional perspective, sustaining above the recent swing level of 23150 remains crucial for strengthening the recovery. Despite recent rebound attempts, sustained buying interest and consistent follow-through are necessary to reinforce the upward bias. If momentum improves, Nifty could gradually move towards 23700.
