The Nifty may find its immediate support around 24100, while upside attempts could face resistance near 24,200 and 24300. A break below 24100 may extend the decline towards 23,900. Conversely, a sustained move above 24,200 could push the index higher towards the 24,350 to 24,400 zone.
Traders may adopt a Buy-on-Dips and Sell-on-Rise strategy near the respective support and resistance levels.
As long as the Nifty sustains below the April 22 low, it may continue to witness selling pressure in the near term. A bullish shift would require the index to reclaim 24,500 with consecutive daily closes. Until then, traders are advised to trim long positions on meaningful pullbacks and avoid aggressive bets, with 24,700 acting as a key behaviour shift zone. A decisive move above this level would confirm the next uptrend.
