A stable start is likely for the Nifty following yesterday’s stellar rally, supported by positive global cues. As the session progresses, the index may enter a consolidation phase with sector-specific action dominating the market. As long as Nifty holds above 23,900, it may extend its gains towards 24,100 and higher levels. However, a breach of this support and sustainability below it could trigger a pullback towards 23,700, where fresh buying interest may emerge.
From a positional perspective, Nifty has closed comfortably above the interim behavioural shift zone of 23,700. However, sustaining above this level for consecutive sessions is essential to confirm the resumption of a broader bullish trend.
