Back Inside the July 8 Low, Behavioural Research Proves It Again –
The benchmark indices ended the session on a positive note, supported by broad-based buying across sectors. Despite the strong close, the Nifty is expected to trade cautiously in the coming sessions as it has re-entered the July 8 behavioural range, reaffirming the significance of this zone in determining the market’s next directional move. The recovery once again validates the behavioural research framework, with the index responding positively after entering this historically significant demand zone. A sustained move above this range would strengthen bullish sentiment, while failure to do so may keep the market vulnerable to renewed selling pressure.

A flat opening is likely for benchmark indices, despite mixed cues from global markets. As the session progresses, the market is likely to witness range-bound volatility, with a cautious upward bias accompanied by intermittent profit booking.

As long as the Nifty holds above 23,800, the behavioural support zone marked by the July 8 low, traders may consider building long positions, with upside targets placed at 24,200 and 24,300.

From a positional perspective, the market is expected to remain directionless until the Nifty breaks the 23,700 to 24,700 range. While a decisive move beyond either end of this range is likely to determine the next major trend, traders and investors may continue to capitalise on the prevailing volatility by adopting a disciplined Buy-on-Dips approach near supports and a Sell-on-Rise strategy near resistances.
