During the session, Nifty may remain volatile within the 22600 to 22900 range, favouring a Sell-On-Rise approach. A decisive break from this range could extend the move towards 22500 on the downside or 23000 on the upside.
Traders are advised to remain cautious during recovery attempts, as interim bounces may provide opportunities to reduce existing long positions and/or initiate fresh short positions at appropriate levels.
From a positional perspective, sustaining above the recent swing level of 23150 remains crucial for strengthening the recovery. Despite recent rebound attempts, sustained buying interest and consistent follow-through are necessary to reinforce the upward bias. If momentum improves, Nifty could gradually move towards 23700. Conversely, a failure to hold key support levels may revive downside pressure.
