Failure to hold above 23700 could trigger renewed selling pressure and lead to further consolidation. Hence, a sustained move above this level is essential to validate the recovery.
The benchmark indices are set for a huge Gap-Up, mirroring firm cues from major global markets. The Nifty is likely to determine its next leg of rally based on today’s price action. A decisive close above the November 4 high could reinforce the ongoing upward momentum, potentially extending the rally towards 24200 to 24300, with 23700 now emerging as a strong near-term support. In the interim, the 24000 and 23800 zone may act as a demand area, offering opportunities for a Buy-on-Dips strategy.
Having successfully reclaimed and sustained the interim Behavioural Shift Zone of 23700 on consecutive closing basis, the Nifty is now positioned to gradually advance towards its core Behavioural Shift Zone of 24700. This broader positive outlook remains valid as long as the index sustains above 23700 on a daily closing basis. Investors may consider gradually building long-term positions by deploying a portion of their planned capital, with the objective of capturing potential gains over the medium to long term.
