Pre-Market Outlook – 01.09.2026
Nifty Prev. Close: 24080.40
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!August Ends in Red, But July’s Range Holds Firm – Nifty closed August on a negative note amid continued volatility and cautious sentiment. However, the index remained within July’s broader trading range, keeping the larger structure intact.
The September series for Indian markets is likely to commence on a muted note, reflecting neutral cues from global markets. The Nifty may remain volatile within a narrow range of 24,000 to 24,200. A decisive break on either side could trigger a move towards 23,900 to 23,800 on the downside or 24,300 to 24,400 on the upside.
Amid the prevailing volatility, traders may adopt a Buy-on-Dips and Sell-on-Rise approach, deploying the respective strategies around appropriate levels.
From a positional perspective, Nifty needs to decisively close above 24,300 on a consecutive basis to provide the first confirmation of a potential move towards 24,700. A sustained close above 24,700, our key Behaviour Shift Zone, would further strengthen the possibility of a fresh bullish leg.
Until these key levels are decisively breached, Nifty is likely to remain broadly range-bound between 24,000 and 24,700, with volatility continuing to influence the near-term market direction.
