A Gap-Down opening is likely amid weak global cues. The index may remain volatile between 23,500 and 23,700 during the initial hours. A break on either side could lead Nifty towards 23,400 or 23,800, respectively.
As long as Nifty continues to trade below the key behavioural shift zone of 23,700, positional traders are advised to avoid aggressive position building until the level is decisively reclaimed.
