Pre-Market Outlook – 04.11.2025

Escape Attempt, But Caution Prevails – The Nifty is showing early signs of moving out of its recent downtrend, with selective buying emerging near support zones. However, conviction remains limited, as follow-through strength and volumes are yet to confirm a decisive shift. Sustaining above immediate resistance levels is essential to validate the recovery attempt. Until then, a cautious, selective approach remains prudent.

The index is likely to open slightly lower amid mixed global cues. Nifty dipped below 23,711 but closed above it, signaling support is still defended. A slow upward move is possible, but caution remains high due to limited conviction.

Nifty is expected to hold support in the 25,700 to 25,640 zone, while resistance is placed around 25,950 to 26,000.

From a positional perspective, a decisive close above 26,200 or a breakout past 26,300 could open the path toward 26,700 to 27,000. Until then, Nifty is likely to stay range-bound between 25,500 and 26,000.

Positive momentum is likely to strengthen as long as Nifty continues to trade above the high and low range of October 15.

Behavioural research suggests that the High and Low of October 31 often act as a key inflection zone, with the potential to trigger notable shifts in market behaviour.

Movement in Real Estate, Pharma, Banking, Finance, Telecom, and PSE sectors is likely to play a key role in driving the market trend.
